As a photographer, I've viewed the world through a lens for four decades. In 2006, I began working professionally and exhibiting at art shows: Arts Festival Oklahoma, Downtown Edmond Art Show, Paseo, and El Reno. My work has been recognized at Red Earth, Cherokee Art Market, and Mid-Summer Night’s Fair. Currently, I have work displayed at Rusty Gables Guest Lodge, Oklahoma City, Vencedora Designs, Guthrie, Oklahoma, and in the permanent collection at Oklahoma City Community College. Recently I was invited to exhibit at 50 Penn Place Art Gallery. I'm not sure of the dates, so check the website.
I've photographed for Southwestern Publishing, Cafe City Arts, Oklahoma City Museum of Art, and the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. Although mostly self-taught, I studied photography at the University of Central Oklahoma and continue to stay abreast of the rapidly changing developments in digital photography and graphic design through workshops and classes.
Whether it's photo art, a commercial client, or a wedding, I have the same goal: to make compelling images that have the narrative and visual impact to create lasting memories.
Respectfully,
Alan R. Ball
